Handmade Kitchen, Salisbury
This handmade kitchen in Salisbury boasts traditional design, construction and bold statement colours.
The dark blue colour of the bespoke cabinetry coupled with the dark tones of the walnut carcass interior brings this shaker style kitchen into the modern day and keeps up with trending interior design paths. The beaded front frame gives the kitchen a subtle detail without losing the crisp lines and close gaps of the doors and drawers.
The L shaped layout of this kitchen along with its 3-metre-long island unit gives huge amounts of storage along with its integrated aspects to achieve complete functionality. The breakfast bar seating around the island is perfect for entertaining and to bridge the gap between kitchen and dining area in this beautifully spacious extension.
A beautiful example of careful design decisions coming together to create a warm, homely and timeless hub of the home.
All front frames and doors were made from solid tulipwood, it is an ideal timber to use, with a tight, consistent and fine grain making it possible to achieve a fine and smooth surface in preparation for the spray finish.
Each cabinet front was individually made to fit its corresponding carcass, and each run of carcasses made to fit accurately in the available space, with no oversized scribe panels to affect the look of the finished product.
Each front frame where possible is a continual frontage with no join lines between each carcass. This is a constant reminder and evidence that it truly is a bespoke project, handmade to its own unique layout with care and attention to detail wherever you look.
The customer made a stunning choice with selecting the cabinet furniture for their kitchen; slightly weathered brass beehive cabinet knobs for the doors and brass cup handles with a matching finish for drawers and integrated dishwasher. The deep blue and brass marry together beautifully. This kitchen also boasts a very functional integrated waste and recycling bin, a solid oak removable cutlery tray and a fully fitted solid oak bespoke larder.
